Bid on a Catamaran Cruise Valued at $15,000
The Baranowski family has participated wholeheartedly in the Great TV Auction for thirty years starting with Derek’s mother Margaret. They have volunteered and sponsored the Cash Dash - and are doing so again this year (watch for it Saturday, June 9). The family has always believed in the mission of the station and they have always been valued part of the WCTE family.
This year, their generosity has overwhelmed us. Thanks to Diana and Derek Baranowski, viewers will have the chance to bid on the grandest item ever featured in WCTE’s Great TV Auction - an incredible one-week 47’ Power Catamaran Cruise in the British Virgin Islands and Tortola for six, with a value of $15,000.
This cruise features a Sunday departure from Moorings base in Tortola with a return to Moorings base on the following Saturday. There is some flexibility with this schedule to accommodate flights.
The Catamaran is equipped with three cabins and can sleep up to six people (2 per cabin). Meals include breakfast and lunch with two dinners on board. The boat will be moored at locations that have access to local restaurants on nights when dinner is not served. Dingy service to the shore will be provided. Snorkel gear is also on board and will be provided.
Derek and Diana have been cruising these waters for years. Derek holds an International Certificate for Operators of Sailing Vessels as well as Certificates from the American Sailing Association and he will be captain of the Catamaran. Diana serves as First Mate & Chef.
The trip will be auctioned off live on the last Sunday of the Great TV Auction (June 10).
Thank you Derek and Diana. Truly.
