Curious George Dance contest

Does your child love Curious George®? Do they love to dance? Have them show us their best monkey moves and exercise their creativity in the first-ever Curious George Dance Contest!

This season on PBS KIDS® Curious George is learning all about the arts, including dance. Dance is a great way for kids to express themselves, and a fun way to exercise! Beginning this February, parents and guardians are invited to enter a video of their child dancing to the Curious George theme song for a chance to appear in a future episode of Curious George! You might even win a visit from George himself! Whether your child likes to bop, shake, jump, twirl, or spin, we want to see how they boogie along with Curious George.
 
A panel of judges will choose ten finalists based on their creativity, enthusiasm, and originality. George’s friends and fans – the public – will vote for the winner. All finalists will receive a Curiosity Kit, filled with Curious George books, DVDs, and other fun George merchandise. The grand prize winner’s video will be broadcast in an upcoming episode of the PBS KIDS series, Curious George! Contest is open only to legal residents of 50 United States & DC, who are 18 years of age or older and the parent or legal guardian of a child (8 years of age or younger/between the ages of 1 and 8). Contest starts at 8:00am EST on 2/20/12. Entries must be received by 11:59pm EST on 4/2/12. Public voting begins at 12:01am EST on 4/16/12 and ends at 11:59pm EST on 4/30/12.
