Wine Tasting Fun-raiser, Cookeville, 5:00pm

WINE TASTING FUN-RAISER Organized by the Roaring River Chapter of SOCM - (Statewide Organizing for Community eMpowerment) Enjoy a Variety of Wines with Heavy Appetizers 5-8pm at ART à la carte, located at 121 W Broad St in Cookeville, TN.

This year’s wine selection includes reds and whites from around the world. Also available: a California old vintage red that has been saved in the Paddock & Mastin cellar and is not available anywhere else! The wine selection committee looks for modestly priced wines that are available nearby and are suitable for the holiday table or gift giving. Non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

For 14 years SOCM has organized a wine tasting FUN-raiser. This year they are delighted to host the event at ART a la carte. Shop for the holidays while enjoying heavy appetisers, a variety of wines of the world and live music! Old and new friends to SOCM have been invited to the celebration and SOCM staff will be on hand to answer question about their efforts to build an economically just and environmentally sustainable society. Think globally – Act locally! Please RSVP as soon as possible and bring a wine glass.

SOCM 2013 Dues and Party Contribution: $55 per couple; $30 per individual; $10 per student or low income individual

Recommended Contribution Level Without Membership: $40 per couple; $25 per individual

All proceeds after expenses and 2013 SOCM membership rebuilds the Roaring River SOCM Chapter and statewide treasury and keeps the Chapter e-newsletter coming.
