Youthful Expressions 3: An Art Exhibit

The Cookeville History Museum will be featuring this year's annual art exhibit which showcases the creations of young artists (elementary through high school) in our community. All genres of art are acceptable but all drawings, paintings, etc. must be framed, mounted or on canvas and ready to be hung and there is a limit of one entry per media per person. All entries must be at the museum no later than February 2, 2013. The exhibit will open on Saturday, February 16 with a reception for the artists and their families and run through March 30. The museum, located at 40 E. Broad St (across from City Hall and next to the library), is open Wednesday though Saturday from 10 - 4 with free admission. For further information call 520-5455.
