WCTE ENDS AN ERA OF ANALOG BROADCASTING.
WCTE is now broadcasting completely in digital. Our free, over-the-air broadcast includes three quality program streams:
- DTV Channel 22.1 is our main, standard-definition programming;
- DTV Channel 22.2 is high-definition PBS programming;
- DTV Channel 22.3 is standard-definition CREATE network programming.
Digital broadcasting will allow stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional channels. WCTE is committed to provide information and resources to our viewers to provide them with a smooth and educated transition into the digital broadcasting age. Below you will find many articles and links towards this goal.
