#204 Ruth Phipps
One on One with Becky Magura features Ruth Phipps, founding organizer of Pacesetters, a program for special needs adults, that had it's beginning in the late 60's. Giving a voice to those who were often unheard, Ruth and a band of others created a loving and nurturing environment for mentally challenged adults. A mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ruth is also a well known artist, writer, community activist and a woman of faith. This will be a special visit for Becky as Ruth is her maternal aunt and the two will reflect on life past, present and future.
