World renowned acoustic sound… underground!
Mondays at 7:30 pm on WCTE, repeating Thursdays at 9:30 pm.
Bluegrass Underground is recorded live 333 feet below ground at Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville, Tn inside of what was named by the first people to behold the natural amphitheatre, The Volcano Room. Here water and time entwined 3.5 million years ago to create one of the most acoustically pure natural spaces on earth. No man-made sound reaches the Volcano Room and the living rock hued amid the eons is jagged and uneven, providing limited echo.

Join Host Becky Magura, BSO Conductor and Music Director Dan Allcott, and BSO Executive Director Gail Luna as they discuss the music and events related to the 49th season of the Bryan Symphony Orchestra at Tennessee Tech University.  Learn about the performance, mark your calendars for Symphony Social Events and gain insight into how each performance is created with the musical trio, on location at Sweet Sallie's Bakery and Cafe', 11 N.
