STATIONS OF IMAGINATION 2010

WCTE’s 16th Annual Stations of Imagination will celebrate “living green” in the Upper Cumberland.

Friday & Saturday, September 10 & 11 at the Fall FunFest in Cookeville.

5:30 Open & Welcome: SUPER WHY CHARACTERS: Super Why, Princess Presto, Alpha Pig & Wonder Red are appearing this year as a tribute to JJ Oakley.

SATURDAY ACTIVITIES

Don’t miss all of the interactive excitement at Stations of Imagination from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm:

  • Safety Avenue will feature all of our local Community Helpers
  • Amigos Street will feature Sesame Street booth, a misting tent, face painting & balloon animals, sidewalk chalkboard, play dough center, and more.
  • Golden Eagle Boulevard will feature:FIRST Robotics, Lego Team, Remote Control Cars, TTU Chemistry Dept, Amazin Acres Hay Maze, Victory Gym Bus, TTU Mini Baja, TTU athletics includes: Football, Soccer, Basketball, Golf and more, TTU International Student Organization
  • Big Tree Village will feature Habitat for Humanity Lincoln Log house and a Reading Rainbow reading area, cool recycled Art activities and more.
  • Sandbox Lane will feature sandboxes with goodies to dig for and children’s Little Tykes toys to play with.
  • Hands on Craft Lane will Feature: Great Recycled Art activities to make and take home.

WCTE will focus strongly on Recycling, Reducing, and Reusing products that are environmentally friendly. Throughout the event our recycling stations will teach festival participants about the importance of recycling their trash. As always, SOI welcomes local groups & organizations that promote healthy lifestyles in the Upper Cumberland. If your group is interested in volunteering to help with Stations; please contact Reggie Brown.
