With over 32 years of experience in production, educational outreach and management at PBS station, WCTE, Becky brings to any project a level of commitment necessary for success. In 2006, Magura became WCTE’s fourth General Manager and has led the station team through digital transition in transmission and production as well as securing a second WCTE satellite studio. Nationally she is currently serving as a member of the National PBS Board and on the Association of Public Television Stations Board of Trustees.

Director of Content & Digital Media

In this position, Desirée oversees the direction, production and coordination of all phases of content on the air, online and in the community by leading the Production, Programming, Creative Services and Web/Social Media teams at the station. She has been in media since 2004, having worked at PBS affiliates in both Tennessee (WCTE) and Nevada (Vegas PBS). Desirée currently sits on the PBS Digital Media Advisory Council.

Director of Development & Marketing

Avery is responsible for managing all fundraising, underwriting, membership, marketing, auctions, special events and marketing. Owens,  formerly WCTE’s sales manager, previously worked in sales and marketing for several local businesses, including the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

Director of Education

In this position, Hannah oversees all education projects and outreach including community events and programs throughout the Upper Cumberland region. Hannah has worked in public media since 2014, formerly Becky Magura's executive administrative assistant. She worked in education for over 12 years as a secondary and higher education teacher.

Director of Engineering & Technology

Ralph began at the station in 1983 as a production engineer. He worked as a freelancer for major networks, commercial advertisers, and sports teams including the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators. Welch returned to WCTE in 2009 as interim chief engineer.
