Desirée Duncan, Director of Content for WCTE-Upper Cumberland PBS, oversees all phases of WCTE's content on air, online, and on the ground. Ms. Duncan is also executive producer for WCTE’s flagship series, “Live Green Tennessee,” a program that collaborates with PBS stations statewide and focuses on how local communities can lead greener, more prosperous, and healthier lives. The host and producer for “BSO Backstage: A Concert Preview featuring the Bryan Symphony Orchestra,” she has also produced local documentaries and series like “Youth: Behind the Keys,” “World Peace: A Celebration,” and “Live from the Farm.”

Ms. Duncan has been with PBS since 2004, working at affiliates in both Tennessee and Nevada. During her tenure at Las Vegas PBS, Desirée served as a producer and reporter for the news magazine series, "Inside Education" and "Recession Rx," as well as hosting, writing, and producing local documentaries like "Fit Kids, Active Families,” for which she was awarded a Las Vegas Electronic Media Award. Ms. Duncan earned a B.S. degree in English/Journalism from Tennessee Technological University.
