In the premiere episode of this new WCTE series, Becky interviews Sylvia Hyman about her life as an artist. Sylvia ventured in a new direction about fifteen years ago when her imagination turned to a form of sculpture known as "trompe l'oeil" (to fool the eye). She developed methods and techniques to make books, biblical scrolls, old maps, and even crossword puzzles using porcelain clay.
