QUEST: BEYOND THE STARS

Stunning images from the Hubble telescope and other archival sources from NASA form a backdrop to classical pieces and songs performed by Quest, an instrumental ensemble from Europe. The program, recorded live in London in January 2012, features special guests Isobel Cooper (a platinum-selling British classical cross-over vocalist) and Scandinavian violinist and European recording artist Charlie Siem. Music selections include “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Space Oddity,” “Rocket Man,” “Thus Spake Zarathustra” (the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey), Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” and original soundtrack material.
