Sawyer's Story...

WCTE’s Stations of Imagination was created in memory of Sawyer Johnston who passed as a young child. Sawyer’s family wanted to keep his loving and bigger-than-life personality alive, so WCTE and the Johnston family teamed up to create Stations of Imagination. Now, more than 20 years later we still celebrate Sawyer’s life, while sharing the joy and happiness that all families can have when building memories together.

At-Home Challenge Guidelines

To participate, please complete all four activities below with your children. Take pictures during the activity and with the completed project. You can submit your photos to claim your goody bag and coupon for a free Kiddie Snoball from Pelican's Snoballs one of two ways:

1. Bring your photos on your smartphone, camera, or tablet to the WCTE tent at the Downtown Film Festival on August 29. See https://www.wcte.org/events/film-festival/ for more information about the festival.

2. Email your photos to mstewart@wcte.org and schedule a pick-up time at the station. We’ll bring your goody bag out to you so you don’t have to leave your car.

Families who email their photos may get a chance to see their pictures during the breaks on WCTE’s PBS Kids Channel!

Coming Soon... We have something new this year! Follow the links below for an At-Home Nature Challenge for grades 5-12.
