The evening will also recognize outstanding community leadership through the presentation of the Partner of the Year Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Albrecht Impact Award, honoring individuals and organizations whose dedication has made a lasting difference in our community.

As America celebrates 250 years we invite you to join WCTE PBS for an evening that honors the people, places, and stories that have shaped our community and contributed to America's story.

The Annual Dinner, Moving Through History with WCTE, will be held Thursday, August 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Saltbox Inn in Cookeville.

Throughout the evening, guests will journey through the rich history of the Upper Cumberland and reflect on the moments that have defined our region, and the role local public television has played in preserving and sharing those stories. Through heartfelt testimonials, memorable moments from WCTE's archives, community storytelling, and reflections on nearly five decades of service.

For 48 years, WCTE PBS has been more than a television station. It has been a trusted source of education, inspiration, public safety information, and local storytelling. Together, we'll celebrate that legacy while looking ahead to the next chapter of service for our region.
