WCTE STATIONS OF IMAGINATION IS BACK!

WCTE Central TN PBS is happy to announce that our popular Stations of Imagination event is back this year, in person!

Taking place Saturday, September 10, from 10am to 5pm, Stations of Imagination will include lots of FREE family activities, games, crafts, and much more!

“We are so excited that we are able to bring Stations back this year, after having to make the tough decision to cancel the past two years.  Lots of your favorite activities will be making a comeback, and there will be some new ones, as well!  We hope everyone comes out and has a good time,” says Sarah Savage, Education and Engagement Coordinator for WCTE.

WCTE proudly partners with Cookeville CityScape for this event, and Stations of Imagination fills the important role of providing engaging and FREE activities for children who visit Fall Fun Fest.  Kids aged 2-12 years old will find a wide range of fun and educational opportunities there, with a big emphasis on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities, aligned with PBS’s Ready to Learn educational initiatives.

Booths will be set up on Jefferson and Broad Streets, beside the Cookeville Courthouse, on the Square.  Due to COVID precautions, walk-around characters are not available this year, but a Sesame Street façade will be set up, and available for family photoshoots.  The WCTE Mobile Production Unit will also be open for tours and demonstrations.
