Save the Date for WCTE’s Stations of Imagination at Fall FunFest

Cookeville, TN – WCTE Upper Cumberland PBS will host its 24th annual Stations of Imagination at City Scape's Fall FunFest on Friday, Sept. 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Jefferson Ave. side of the square in Cookeville. All Stations of Imagination activities are FREE and open to all ages.

The fun begins on Friday evening at 7:30 with WCTE's Glow Parade. Join WCTE's lantern-making workshop at Red Silo or Dogwood Park with our partners. Red Silo is generously hosting a Lantern & Libations workshop at Red Silo on Aug. 27, 6-8PM. If you missed the first one at Red Silo be sure to catch the next one to create your lantern for only $5 to show off at WCTE's Glow Parade, which is open to all ages. The Bryan Symphony Orchestra is also partnering with WCTE to host a lantern-making workshop at Dogwood Park on Sunday, September 1st 2:00-3:30 PM. Decorate your lantern with your favorite Sesame St. character, beach scene, or action character and join the Glow Parade as they light up the square. After the Glow Parade, dance the night away with family and friends at WCTE’s Silent Disco!

On Saturday, WCTE will host 15+ interactive PBS Kids booths where kids of all ages can make slime, build Sesame Street playdough molds, have fun in the interactive bubble lab and much more. Walkaround Zoe from Sesame Street will be on-hand throughout the day for photos as well as Clifford the Big Red Dog.

WCTE has partnered with REMAX to bring the Sesame Street 50th celebration to life as this year's Stations of Imagination theme.
