After more than 40 years of broadcast history, the Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree is no longer being shown on WCTE PBS. The decision came after WCTE grant funding was cut from the DeKalb County municipality budget.
For live coverage of the Jamboree, visit dtc3.tv, or if you are a DTC TV customer tune to Channel 3 or Channel 303.
WCTE PBS valued the 40+ year partnership with the Smithville Jamboree, DeKalb County, and DTC, and we wish the whole Smithville Jamboree team the best of luck with the 2024 event. WCTE PBS is proud to have viewers and supporters in the city of Smithville and throughout DeKalb County, and we appreciate the value that community brings to our local programming.
Join Shan Stout and Jennifer Phipps for the 51st Annual Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree, a DeKalb County tradition that draws musicians, craft artists, and spectators to the Smithville Square each summer around the Independence Day weekend to view the best of the two-day, old-time Appalachian-style music and dance festival.
Celebrating 50 years. Smithville, TN.
